ABOUT ME

Jenny @ Jennyoga.co.uk

I started Jennyoga in 2019 but first began practising yoga 20 years ago. Yoga has given me so much, mentally and physically. In July 2019, I completed my 200-hour yoga alliance teacher training with Cam Yoga. I have since completed a children’s yoga course and am qualified and insured to teach children from age 2 upwards.

I enjoy practising and teaching all types of Yoga, particularly Hatha and Vinyasa. My enthusiasm and passion for Yoga I believe is contagious and my Yoga classes in Rugby and the surrounding area are following my dream of becoming a full time Yoga Teacher.

Having worked in a school for many years, I have realised the importance of physical and mental activities. Children are spending more and more time on screens and Yoga is a great tool to help them to reconnect with themselves. My children’s yoga classes are based around play, incorporating yoga Asana into mini adventures and games building strength and flexibility.

My adult classes range from a gentle Hatha practice to more advanced Vinyasa and Flow. My aim is for my students to progress and enjoy the fitness and mindfulness of practising Yoga. We will go through some of yoga’s greatest poses, in a slow and gentle practise, giving you the time to progress at your own rate.

If you have no prior knowledge of yoga or are getting back into fitness after a long break, then I would recommend that you start with my Hatha class. This class is delivered at a gentle pace, allowing you to build up your knowledge of asana and your fitness level in a safe and friendly environment.

If you have been doing yoga for a while or do some form of exercise regularly, then I would recommend my vinyasa class. This class is delivered at a pace that will often get the heart pumping.

Whatever your Yoga experience or fitness levels, my Yoga classes are fun, informal and everyone is welcome.
